About the competition
Ο διαγωνισμός F1 in Schools είναι ένας διεθνής διαγωνισμός STEM (επιστήμη, τεχνολογία, μηχανική, μαθηματικά), στον οποίο ομάδες μαθητών ηλικίας 9-19 ετών πρέπει να σχεδιάσουν και να κατασκευάσουν ένα μινιατούρα αγωνιστικού αυτοκινήτου μορφής F1 χρησιμοποιώντας λογισμικό σχεδίασης CAD. Τα αυτοκίνητα κινούνται με τη βοήθεια φυσιγγιών CO 2. Τα αυτοκίνητα πρέπει να ακολουθούν εκτεταμένους κανονισμούς, με παρόμοιο τρόπο με τη Formula 1. Τα αυτοκίνητα αγωνίζονται σε μήκος 20 μέτρων με δύο λωρίδες, για να επιτρέπεται η ταυτόχρονη οδήγηση δύο αυτοκινήτων. Συμμετέχουν πάνω από 35 χώρες, ενώ δημιουργήθηκε από την formula 1 με σκοπό τη διασκεδαστικότερη εκμάθηση επιστημών όπως τα μαθηματικά.
The competition F1 in Schools is an international STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) competition , in which teams of students ages 9-19 must designe and make a minature of a racing car in the style of F1 formulas utilasing designe softwere CAD. the cars move with the use of a can of compresed CO 2. the cars must follow rigorus regulations, in a simular way as in Formula 1. the cars race acros a distance of 20 miters in two destinct lanes, in order for both of the cars to be able to race at the same time. In the competition take part 35 countries, while it was founded by formula 1 in order to gamification of the education of sciences like maths.
